Rice Pudding

Ingredients: 6 cups milk 1 cup water 1 cup rice 1 cup sugar 1-2 vanilla Directions: Milk and water is put to boil. Add rice cleaned and washed. When the rice is ready add the sugar and vanilla. Boil over low heat with constant stirring. When serving can be served sprinkled with cinnamon.    

Seventh mobility – Foligno, Italy

From October the 10th to October the 14th the seventh project meeting took place in Foligno, Italy. We started with a group briefing at the hotel in which we discussed further development of the project and we presented a draft of the CookBook. We dedicated most of the time to adjust and decide how to procede in the making of the book. After the general welcome, the group splitted in two parts: one group, including leaders, stayed at the hotel to work on the book; the other group, including students and tutors, visited the vegetable&fruits market and an olive oil factory. In the afternoon the groups met and we went together to visit the junior high school Scuola Statale Media Piermarini to share experiences and visit the school. The Education, School and Culture councillor of Foligno municipality welcomed us. After that, we visited Palazzo Trinci, an International Gothic building, house of the Trinci family which ruled the town between the XIV and XV century. Sixth mobility – Nazilli, Turkey

From May the 23d to May the 26th the sixth project meeting took place in Nazilli, Turkey. We visited the school and the principal welcomed us with a warm welcome speach. We met a lot of students who were very happy to know new people from all around Europe. We also visited a beautiful exhibition displayed in the school with drawings done by portugese students on the topic of food. Then, we splitted in different groups, every of which worked in the workshops of the school (ceramic, fabric, mosaic, cooking etc). The lunch was partially prepared by the cooking workshop. In the afternoon, we visited a small village where the main production focuses on clay. It was very interesting to observe how the whole village is able to mantain its economic and production process throught the only element of clay. The next day, we had the pleasure to visit the beautiful natural site of Pamukkale and the archeological site Hierapolis. We walked through the ruins and on the travertine hot springs.
