1 French bread
250 ml milk
1 vanilla pod
50 g butter
1.Cut the baguette into 8 diagonal pieces of about 3 cm thick. Cut the vanilla pod open and pull from top to bottom with a knife and remove the marrow.
2.Take a deep plate and break 2 eggs above that plate. Stir the eggs with a fork. Add 250 ml of milk and the marrow of the vanilla pod.
3.Dip the pieces of bread in the egg mixture.
4.Peel the bananas, cut them into long slanting slices. Put 25 grams of butter in a frying pan and heat up. Fry the bananas in 3 minutes. Take them out of the pan with a
spatula or fork and keep warm on a plate with aluminum foil over it.
5.Let one more time 25 grams butter heat up in the frying pan and fry the pieces bread nicely browned. Turn them over regularly. You have now French toast.
6.Divide the French toast among 4 plates, and add the bananas.
